Events Lead - Tech Scale up | £55,000 - £65,000 | Hybrid working (2 days office based)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing international technology (AI) business. This is a high-profile position where you'll have complete ownership of the events function, working closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver a commercially focused events strategy. This client is looking for a candidate who has experience where decisions are based on ROI, not just attendance or NPS.
This role sits at the heart of the business, bridging Marketing, Sales and Revenue. You'll be responsible for developing an engaging events programme that drives pipeline, strengthens customer relationships and supports ambitious growth plans across both the UK and global markets.
This is far more than an events coordination role. We're looking for someone who enjoys creating strategy, taking ownership and making things happen. You'll have the autonomy to build the function, introduce new ideas and play a genuine part in the company's continued success.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
