About Ascenda Global
Ascenda Global works with established brands to deliver customer acquisition, brand engagement and business development campaigns.
We're looking for ambitious individuals to join our team as Events Management Trainees, gaining practical experience across events, customer engagement, sales and team development.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
You'll support live events, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement activities while learning how successful campaigns are planned, delivered, and measured.
Alongside the events side of the role, you'll develop valuable skills in sales, communication, customer acquisition and business development. Full training and ongoing coaching are provided.
As you develop, you'll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility within the team and progress towards leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of promotional events and customer campaigns
- Represent client brands professionally at events and customer-facing activities
- Engage directly with customers and create positive brand experiences
- Develop sales, communication and presentation skills
- Support customer acquisition and business development activities
- Work with team members to achieve campaign and performance objectives
- Take part in regular training, coaching and development sessions
Who We're Looking For
You don't need previous events or sales experience. We're interested in people who are:
- Confident and comfortable meeting new people
- Organised, reliable and professional
- Positive, energetic and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Interested in developing a career in events, sales, marketing or business development
Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, events, promotions, sales, fundraising or other customer-facing roles is welcome but not essential.
