We are seeking a commercially minded Events Manager to join our Marketing Services team and lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of our internal and external events programme.
This newly created role will be instrumental in developing and managing a growing portfolio of events across the organisation. Covering both internal and external audiences, the programme will include a blend of online and in-person events designed to support business development, enhance brand awareness, strengthen stakeholder engagement and drive effective employee communications.
Working closely with Marketing, Business Development, Operations and Leadership teams, you will ensure every event delivers an outstanding attendee experience while generating measurable business value. With the opportunity to shape the overall events strategy, introduce best practice and establish scalable processes, this role offers significant scope to make a lasting impact across the business.
We are looking for an experienced Events Manager who combines exceptional event delivery expertise with strong commercial awareness. You will be equally comfortable developing event strategies and long-term plans as you are managing the operational detail required for seamless execution. Proactive, highly organised and relationship-focused, you will build strong partnerships with stakeholders at all levels and understand how a well-executed events programme can support organisational growth, strengthen brand presence and create meaningful engagement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of internal and external event programmes.
- Manage conferences, exhibitions, networking events, open evenings and corporate events.
- Coordinate monthly webinar activity including registrations, speakers and attendee communications.
- Develop and manage a programme of online, in-person and hybrid events.
- Support Business Development and B2B engagement activities through targeted event programmes and industry events.
- Identify and evaluate new event opportunities that support business growth and brand awareness.
- Work closely with Business Development teams to maximise event ROI and lead generation opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, clinical leaders and stakeholders to create engaging event content and thought leadership opportunities.
- Manage event budgets, suppliers, venues and contracts.
- Oversee stand design, logistics and event materials for exhibitions and conferences.
- Develop and maintain event timelines, plans and project documentation.
- Monitor event performance, reporting on outcomes and recommending improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, speakers and event partners.
- Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and support to a direct report, helping to develop capability within the team.

Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience planning and delivering corporate events, exhibitions, conferences or large-scale business events.
- Experience managing both virtual and face-to-face events.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end event management from concept through to post-event evaluation.
- Experience managing event budgets and external suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of lead generation, engagement and event ROI.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple functions.
Desirable
- Experience within healthcare, mental health or professional services environments.
- Experience delivering webinar programmes.
- Experience supporting business development or lead generation activities.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and event reporting tools.
- Experience with hybrid and virtual event platforms.
- Previous line management or mentoring experience would be advantageous.

Location & Travel:
This is a predominantly remote position, with monthly travel required for team meetings in London, and various locations for event delivery.
