Working at CreateFuture

CreateFuture is an AI-native consulting partner where people do work that matters and are supported to do it well. We work alongside organisations such as PayPal, adidas, NatWest, FanDuel and Money Saving Expert, building digital products and services that make a difference while always putting people first.

We’re a team of creators. We write code, shape delivery, build go-to-market strategies, develop AI solutions and create the practices that support our people. We work side by side with our clients, challenging what’s not working and helping them to build the future. Our commitment to craft, quality, and culture has helped us scale to over 600 people in just a few years.

CreateFuture is a Great Place to Work-Certified™ company and has won Best Workplaces UK multiple years in a row.

Join us on our journey. Let’s create tomorrow, together, today.

This Role

3 months Contract - 2/3 days a week onsite/hybrid in Edinburgh (Must live in commutable distance to Edinburgh)

About The Role And Team

We're looking for an experienced Events Manager, based in Edinburgh, to join our marketing team on a fixed-term 3 month basis and own our event programme across owned events, partner events and sponsored flagship events.

This isn't simply about running well-organised events. CreateFuture's ambition is to become the organisation that owns Scotland's AI-enabled business transformation agenda.

That means every event this role runs should be judged against a simple test: would this conversation have happened if CreateFuture hadn't brought these people together?

A core focus of this role is our events programme with key technology partners — AWS, OpenAI and Anthropic. This means curating joint dinners and roundtables, shaping the theme and hook with internal SMEs, managing the invite process, and ensuring we show up with the right content, branding and commercial intent.

For sponsored and flagship events, you will manage the full lifecycle — from investment approval and logistics through to on-the-day execution, lead capture and post-event follow-up — working to a structured playbook and ensuring every event delivers measurable pipeline contribution, with CF/Beyond as the natural next step for the relationships built, not the opening pitch.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a hands-on coordination role. You will be organised, commercially minded, and confident working with senior stakeholders, external partners and third-party agencies — while keeping one eye on the bigger story: that CreateFuture is convening, championing and connecting Scotland's AI community, not just hosting dinners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate joint dinners and roundtable events in partnership with AWS, OpenAI and Anthropic
  • Work with internal SMEs to agree the event theme, hook and format — ensuring partner alignment
  • Manage the invite process end-to-end: target account lists, outreach coordination and guest confirmation
  • Ensure CreateFuture shows up with the right branding, messaging and materials at every partner event
  • Plan and execute CreateFuture-owned dinners and roundtable events — targeting 20 to 100 attendees, designed as the kind of conversation that wouldn't happen without us
  • Define the ICP and target account list for each event with the BD and marketing teams — with a bias toward Scotland's most strategically important organisations
  • Commission and brief landing pages, email outreach and LinkedIn campaigns to drive registrations
  • Manage the full event lifecycle for sponsored events — from investment brief and leadership approval through to post-event follow-up

We’d Love To Talk To You If You

  • Proven experience coordinating B2B events — dinners, roundtables and sponsored conferences
  • Strong project management skills: able to run multiple events simultaneously against tight deadlines
  • Experience managing external relationships — venues, agencies, event organisers and partners
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and SMEs to shape event themes and content
  • Experience managing outreach and invite campaigns, including working with SDR or agency teams
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM for lead capture and campaign tracking
  • Based in or around Edinburgh, with the flexibility to attend venues, partner offices and events across the city and wider Scotland
