Your Role

The Events Manager plays an important role in the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of events that support our organisation’s strategic objectives. This role involves managing event logistics, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and helping to create high-quality experiences for our clients. The Events Manager will use their event management and project coordination skills to support the delivery of events across the EMEA region, from planning through to completion. This role requires an organised, proactive individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver a range of high-quality events — including seminars, conferences, exhibitions, third-party events and webinars — from briefing through to completion.
  • Follow the Invesco event management process to ensure events are well organised, accurately documented and delivered in line with corporate guidelines, compliance requirements and agreed timelines.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, internal stakeholders, external clients and suppliers to support the smooth delivery of events.
  • Support post-event evaluation by reviewing event performance against agreed measures such as attendance, engagement, lead generation and feedback, helping to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about developments and best practice in events and the asset management industry, contributing fresh ideas to support the EMEA events programme.
  • Work effectively independently and as a team player within local team, broader marketing team and wider organisation
  • Make a personal contribution to the wider departmental/cross-functional projects

What you will bring

  • Proven event management experience
  • Experience supporting or delivering digital events would be desirable
  • Experience coordinating with suppliers, venues and internal stakeholders to support successful event delivery
  • Experience supporting post-event evaluation, including reviewing attendance, engagement, feedback and other agreed measures
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledgeable of Cvent, Pardot and CRM (Salesforce) tools would be desirable
  • Knowledge of ON24 or similar webinar platform is desirable
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (other European languages would be advantageous)
  • Relevant experience, knowledge and attitude would gladly be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Comfortable travelling solo with occasional nights away from home
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated, organised and flexible
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
  • Confident and calm under pressure, adapt quickly to changing briefs and situations
