About the Role
The Events Manager is integral to supporting English National Ballet's artistic, fundraising and commercial ambitions, helping to maximise the use of our facilities, grow earned income, strengthen relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to the long-term sustainability and success of the organisation. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to lead the end-to-end management of events, from ENB’s own programme of events to commercial venue hire activity.

Your Main Responsibilities as Events Manager Will Include:
- Manage the planning and delivery of ENB's annual programme of events, including fundraising events, opening nights, supporter events, workshops and other stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support the Head of Commercial Hires & Events in delivering major projects and high-profile fundraising and corporate events.
- Manage the delivery of commercial hire events, ensuring a high-quality client experience and excellent operational standards.
- Ensure all events are delivered safely and compliantly, including responsibility for risk assessments, health and safety requirements, logistics and operational planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and event partners to ensure high-quality delivery and value for money.
- Develop, manage and monitor event budgets, forecasts and reconciliations, ensuring expenditure is controlled, income targets are achieved and financial performance is accurately reported to relevant stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to develop and deliver an engaging and effective events programme that supports ENB's strategic objectives.

Key Selection Criteria
- Experience managing professional events for a range of supporters, which contribute to commercial, fundraising and audience engagement objectives.
- Experience managing the client journey from enquiry through to event delivery and post-event evaluation, converting opportunities into confirmed bookings through excellent customer service and relationship management.
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise your own workload to see through multiple projects and events to deadlines with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability and understanding of financial processes, including reconciling records, budgeting, invoicing and purchasing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
