Overall Objective of Role
To support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing and event activities across the UK, US, and international regions. The role will help ensure events are delivered seamlessly, from venue sourcing and attendee management through to onsite execution and related marketing activity, while maintaining high standards across AMAG’s growing global events programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of events across the US and international regions, including hospitality events, roundtables, webinars, trade shows, and corporate events.
- Research and source event venues and locations, coordinating with partners, suppliers, contractors, and venue contacts.
- Maintain event trackers, timelines, project plans, checklists, action logs, and status reports, ensuring event information is accurate and accessible.
- Support attendee registration, guest list management, event inboxes, attendee communications, data accuracy, check-in preparation, and post-event reporting.
- Coordinate event logistics, including printing, shipping, signage, materials, packing lists, supplier liaison, onsite setup, registration, event delivery, and breakdown activities.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
- Marketing-related qualification.
- Minimum two years’ experience in events, marketing, or a related role.
- Additional event, marketing, or project management training (desirable).

Experience & Knowledge
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience coordinating events, suppliers, attendees, logistics, and deadlines.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience within a B2B or professional services environment (desirable).
- Previous experience supporting international events programmes (desirable).
- Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Teams, Jifflenow, and Cvent (desirable).
Skills / Personal Attributes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident written and verbal communicator.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, collaborative, and able to build strong relationships.
- Energetic, positive, adaptable, dependable, and calm under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours to support events (desirable).
- Practical, resourceful approach to problem-solving (desirable).
