About this Role
We are seeking an experienced B2B Events Marketing professional to lead the development and activation of VOIS’ presence across industry events, conferences and sponsorship opportunities. Reporting to the Customer Communications Lead, this role is responsible for developing compelling event strategies, messaging and content that maximise brand visibility, thought leadership, customer engagement and commercial impact. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end delivery of strategic event activations, evaluate investment opportunities and work closely with internal stakeholders, agency partners and industry organisations to ensure every event contributes to VOIS’ growth objectives.
What you’ll do
- Execute the annual VOIS industry events attendance and sponsorship strategy, ensuring investment is aligned to brand, reputation and commercial goals.
- Assess and prioritise event opportunities, sponsorship packages and speaking opportunities against commercial, marketing and communications objectives.
- Build business cases and recommendations for event investments, evaluating expected value, audience relevance, brand visibility and return on investment.
- Lead planning and execution of approximately six or more strategic industry event activations annually.
- Evaluate event requests and sponsorship opportunities to ensure alignment with agreed business objectives.
- Determine how VOIS presents itself externally across industry events, conferences and sponsorships.
- Develop event narratives, positioning, messaging frameworks and content plans aligned to VOIS priorities and growth objectives.
- Create keynote outlines, panel talking points, speaker briefs and supporting content for executives and subject matter experts.
- Own integrated event communications plans covering pre-event, live-event and post-event activation.
- Coordinate digital, social media, public relations and content activity to maximise event visibility and audience engagement.
- Partner with digital marketing, communications and service tower stakeholders to ensure events are supported by integrated campaigns.
- Measure event effectiveness and provide recommendations for future investment based on quantitative and qualitative outcomes.
- Manage event agencies and external suppliers where required.
- Ensure alignment with Vodafone Business and Vodafone Group event strategies, messaging and brand standards.
- Provide strategic guidance and support for wider VOIS service tower participation in industry events and conferences.
- Represent VOIS at selected events, building relationships with stakeholders, partners, customers and industry influencers.
- Capture and share insights, trends and opportunities emerging from events and industry discussions.

Who you are
- Significant experience within B2B event marketing and communications.
- Strong understanding of how events contribute to brand awareness, reputation, thought leadership and commercial objectives.
- Experience evaluating sponsorship opportunities and developing investment recommendations.
- Strong content development and storytelling skills with experience creating executive presentations, speaker content and event messaging.
- Experience building integrated campaigns spanning digital, communications, social media and earned media activities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities within a matrix organisation.
- Strong analytical capability with experience measuring event performance and return on investment.
- Proven ability to operate independently and manage programmes from strategy through execution.
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, events marketing or communications.
- Demonstrable experience managing company presence at major industry conferences, sponsorships or executive speaking programmes.
- Strong presentation writing and content development capability.
- Creative conceptualisation skills with the ability to develop ideas and event experiences from research and planning through to delivery.
