Events Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced events professional who thrives on delivering high-impact events while balancing strategy, stakeholder management and hands-on execution?

We're partnering with a leading global Recruitment Consultancy to recruit an Events Marketing Manager who will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of live and virtual events across multiple brands and business areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established marketing team and play a key role in delivering an ambitious annual events programme that supports business growth, client engagement and brand awareness.

The Opportunity

You'll manage approximately 80 events annually, ranging from executive roundtables, networking receptions and breakfast briefings through to webinars and larger-scale conferences. This role offers a broad remit, combining strategic planning and stakeholder engagement with practical event delivery. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business, providing expert guidance on event formats, attendee experience, budgets and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full event lifecycle from concept and planning through to delivery, reporting and evaluation
  • Lead multiple event projects simultaneously while managing timelines, budgets and priorities
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand objectives and recommend the most effective event solutions
  • Coordinate venues, suppliers, speakers, catering, AV and production partners
  • Oversee delegate communications, registrations and attendee engagement
  • Deliver both in-person and virtual events to a consistently high standard
  • Monitor event performance and ROI, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage and coordinate administrative support resources involved in event delivery
  • Drive best practice, process improvements and efficiencies across the events programme

About You

You'll be a proactive, highly organised events specialist who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll likely bring:

  • Experienced in B2B events. Ideally gained within a professional services environment
  • A proven track record of delivering successful live and virtual events
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers and external partners
  • High attention to detail with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating across multiple teams
