TEMBO

TEMBO is a specialist marketing agency that works exclusively with event organisers. We deliver marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, consumer events and industry awards across a wide range of sectors.

We're looking for an experienced Events Marketing Manager

This is a hands on role that combines strategy, campaign delivery and client management. You'll work directly with event organisers to grow visitor and delegate audiences while delivering value for exhibitors, sponsors and partners.

You'll typically manage two to four client accounts with support from Marketing Executives or Assistants. You'll be responsible for planning campaigns, delivering activity across multiple channels, reporting on performance and building strong client relationships.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing end to end marketing campaigns for exhibitions, conferences, consumer events and awards.
  • Developing campaign strategies to increase visitor, delegate and entry numbers.
  • Delivering email marketing, website updates, content and social media campaigns.
  • Managing sponsor, exhibitor and partner marketing activity.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and using data to optimise results.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients.
  • Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver campaigns to a high standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
