Events Operations Manager

We are looking for a passionate Events Operations Manager who thrives on delivering seamless events, exceptional service, and bringing teams together.

Green & Fortune offers high-quality hospitality experiences across London, with Alix Partners, on Millennium Bridge, offering hospitality catering, bespoke events, and scenic views of London skyline and Thames.

What makes you the Events Operations Manager?

Operations

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of meetings and events, ensuring setups, service, and post-event resets run smoothly, accurately, and on time.

People

  • Lead from the front, briefing and supervising the events team and casual staff to ensure everyone is confident, prepared, and delivering to our service standards.

Event & Guest Experience

  • Bring every event brief to life, anticipating guest and client needs and ensuring a seamless experience from setup through to final service.

Commercial Performance

  • Support labour planning, stock control, and operational efficiency, balancing exceptional event delivery with budgets and commercial expectations.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Head of Events Operations, kitchen, and wider teams to coordinate catering numbers, timings, service requirements, and client expectations.

  • Proven experience delivering meetings, events, or hospitality operations, with the confidence to lead small to mid-scale events and coordinate service in a busy environment.
  • A hands-on leadership style, able to brief and motivate teams, lead by example, and remain calm and solutions-focused during busy or high-profile events.
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness, with experience supporting rotas and labour planning, stock control, and the efficient use of resources.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret event briefs, coordinate across departments, and build positive relationships with clients and guests.
  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to service standards, ensuring every setup and event is delivered safely, professionally, and consistently.
