✨ We're Hiring: Events Planning Manager | Hilton London Bankside

Imagine being at the heart of delivering some of London's most memorable events. From the moment an event is confirmed through to the final invoice, you'll take ownership of the entire planning journey, bringing together every detail to create seamless experiences for our clients and their guests.

As our Events Planning Manager, you'll lead a team of two Events Planners and work closely with our GCE Sales team and hotel operations to turn confirmed bookings into exceptional events.

  • Build strong client relationships
  • Oversee detailed planning
  • Coordinate teams across the hotel
  • Be there on the day to make sure everything comes together perfectly

You'll also play an important commercial role, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through F&B, AV, room upgrades and additional services, while creating experiences that encourage clients to return time and again.

🏨 About Hilton London Bankside Located in London's vibrant Bankside, Hilton London Bankside is a multi-award-winning, design-led hotel renowned for exceptional guest experiences and outstanding events. Home to 292 contemporary guest rooms, award-winning OXBO Bankside restaurant, The Distillery Gin Bar and one of London's most impressive event spaces, the hotel offers 11 flexible meeting rooms and a spectacular pillar-free ballroom accommodating up to 1,000 guests for conferences, gala dinners, product launches and celebrations.

🔍 The Role You'll:

  • Take ownership of confirmed events from handover through to delivery and final invoicing.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of two Events Planners.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and bringing their vision to life.
  • Lead planning meetings, menu tastings and site visits to ensure every detail is covered.
  • Work closely with Operations, F&B, AV and wider hotel teams to deliver seamless events.
  • Be a key point of contact for clients and delegates throughout the event journey.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell F&B, AV, room upgrades and additional services.
  • Support M&E revenue targets, client retention and rebooking opportunities.
  • Ensure event information and client details are accurately maintained in Delphi.
  • Contribute to improving the client journey and driving commercial performance.

👤 About You You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in hotel events, meetings & events, conference & banqueting or a similar hospitality environment.
  • Experience managing events from planning through to on-site delivery.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing a team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client and guest experiences.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commercially minded approach, with confidence identifying and maximising opportunities.
  • The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence working collaboratively across multiple hotel departments.
  • Experience using Delphi or a similar events/hotel system would be advantageous.
