This role requires regular international travel to support the delivery of events.
Proposed Salary Range:
Up to £34,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Purpose of the Role
Join the BBC Studios Global Events team and play a key role in delivering high-profile events that engage audiences, strengthen brands and support business objectives worldwide. As an Events Producer, you will lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of medium to large-scale events across the UK and internationally, transforming stakeholder briefs into exceptional experiences while ensuring creative excellence, operational efficiency, financial accountability and compliance with BBC standards.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Lead the planning and delivery of medium to large-scale events from concept through to completion, ensuring they meet stakeholder objectives, budget requirements and BBC standards.
- Manage event budgets, forecasts, timelines and resources, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring events are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Develop engaging event content and delegate experiences, including sourcing speakers, talent and audience engagement opportunities aligned to event objectives.
- Manage operational delivery, supplier relationships, logistics and on-site event activity, ensuring strong governance, risk management and health & safety compliance.
- Support complex event programmes and collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver high-profile events, while mentoring colleagues and sharing best practice across the team.

Essential Criteria
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale events internationally, managing projects from initial brief through to evaluation and post-event reporting.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required to support the successful delivery of events.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple teams and external partners.
- Sound knowledge of event operations, logistics, supplier management and budget control, with experience managing competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrable health & safety expertise, including risk assessment management, supplier evaluation and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and event safety requirements.
- Understanding of event technical production and audiovisual requirements, including the ability to develop technical briefs and assess supplier proposals.
- Experience managing delegate communications and CRM-based event management systems.
- Passion for embedding accessibility, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability principles into event planning and delivery.
Desired But Not Required
- Experience delivering events within the media, entertainment or broadcast industry.
- Professional Health & Safety qualification or certification.
