Join G4S Events Team as Live Entertainment and Sports Events Safety Steward at some of Glasgow’s top venues and earn £13.45 per hour!

Type: Flexible evening and/or weekend work

About The Role

We are looking to recruit additional Events Safety Stewards to support our current Events Team working at some of Glasgow's top venues. This is your chance to be involved in sporting events at Barclays Hampden Park (Scotland v Switzerland - Tuesday 29th September, Scotland v Slovenia - Tuesday 6th October and Scotland v North Macedonia - Friday 13th November) and Scotstoun Stadium as well as live entertainment events at Barclays Hampden Park, Scottish Event Campus, SEC Armadillo, SWG3 and New Edmiston House.

If you are confident, professional, eager to engage with our customers, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! We also offer opportunities to work at major events in Edinburgh (Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium and Royal Highland Centre) and across the UK.

We provide access to a diverse selection of events, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for your lifestyle. Whether it’s flexible ad hoc hours whilst you study, or evening or weekend work during your free time, we have a wide range of shifts available.

Our Events Safety Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. This means you could be working indoors or outdoors, on your feet showing visitors where to go, checking tickets at entry points, monitoring crowds, or managing the car parking facilities. Wherever you are, you will be a helpful and friendly face representing the event.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
