EVENTS SALES MANAGER

Acting as a hub for music, art, dialogue, food and of course, world-class events, Kings Place has become the go-to venue for some of the world’s biggest and most forward-thinking brands.

King`s Place is the very first site of Green and Fortune established in 2008 - it is the place where it all started! Now we are operating across 4 locations as the business has grown and continues to grow. We operate by “one team” approach and we are currently looking to recruit Events Sales Manager to join us.

AS THE EVENTS SALES MANAGER YOU WILL:

  • Be a key point of contact for incoming enquiries
  • Sell and Plan from start to end a diverse range of events, ensuring flawless logistics and memorable experiences within our restaurant and social events within our event spaces. This can be anything from a small meeting, private dining, private party, wedding, summer and Christmas party but not limited to.
  • Support the team in growing the portfolio of key client accounts
  • Support with the planning of events from initial enquiry, such as providing menu tasting notes, menus, table plans, function sheets and filling
  • Create bespoke proposals for enquiries within agreed timeframes
  • Raise and issue contracts, invoices, and final invoices for clients within agreed timeframes
  • Write accurate function sheets to ensure seamless delivery by the operations team
  • Conduct site show arounds and menu tasting with clients, as appropriate
  • Upsell menus, wines, and packages as far as reasonably possible
  • Maintain a knowledge of all competitors

The candidate will need to have excellent sales and negotiation skills, initiative, drive and enthusiasm. Good planning and organizational skills will be essential, and a good knowledge of accounts and finance is important.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an events or sales role. The role is predominantly office based however the candidate will be required to be at industry events and networking opportunities outside the regular Monday to Friday working hours, both early starts, evenings and weekends.
