We have three shops in central London, a range of flagship shows and events, and an award-winning curated selection of Old & Rare, own-label and exclusive whiskies and spirits. We have an on-trade team supplying the best bars, restaurants, hotels and luxury retailers in the UK (The Whisky Exchange Trade), and a specialist auction platform (Whisky.Auction). Together as One Team we serve a global community of whisky drinkers, fuelled by an enthusiasm for discovering and collecting.

We would love you to come and join us.
The opportunity
We are looking for an Events & Show Coordinator to join our Events team on a 12-month internship. In this role you'll learn the ropes of what it takes to run our world-class events. You'll support in the organising and successful delivery of shows and events for The Whisky Exchange. Our events and shows include Whisky Show, Rum Show, Cognac Show, and Tequila & Mezcal show - to name a few!
You'll support the team to manage exhibitor and supplier relationships for relevant shows, coordinate logistics, and ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements. You'll help to organise event documentation, equipment, and signage, while acting as a key onsite liaison throughout build, live days, and breakdown. The role also supports financial tracking and reporting, maintaining up-to-date records and managing exhibitor invoicing before and after each show. The role is hybrid.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
