About The Role

We are looking to recruit additional SIA Security Officers to support our current Events Team working at Scotland Autumn 2026 Fixtures, Scotland will take on New Zealand (Saturday 7th November 2026), Australia (Sunday 15th November 2026) and Japan (Saturday 21st November 2026) at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. You will also have opportunity to work at Hive Stadium, Edinburgh Corn Exchange and Royal Highland Centre. You could be part of making events a success.

If you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, are confident, professional, eager to engage with customers, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! We also have opportunities to be part of some of the biggest events in Glasgow and across the UK.

Our Events SIA Security Officers provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. This means you could be working indoors or outdoors, on your feet showing visitors where to go, checking tickets at entry points, monitoring crowds, or managing the car parking facilities. Wherever you are, you will be a helpful and friendly face representing the event.

  • Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
  • Searching visitors at venue entry points
  • Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
  • Monitoring visitor and crowd movement and behavior to identify potential issues or incidents and taking appropriate action
  • Dealing with visitor or crowd disruptions
  • Securing licensed and hospitality areas

Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends
  • A friendly, professional, and reliable attitude with a strong focus on great customer service
  • Confident communication skills and a smart, well presented appearance

For this role, you must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence - don’t worry, if you don't have this you can still be considered as Events Safety Steward, so please see our other opportunities on the website.
