Events Strategist - 6 Month Contractor
We are seeking a creative Events Strategist with payments experience to join as a 6 month contractor in Canary Wharf, starting in October.
This individual will design and deliver impactful events that strengthen relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. This role involves developing innovative event strategies, managing timelines, budgets and vendor relationships and analysing event performance to continually improve engagement and ROI.

- Design, develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that support business objectives
- Plan, coordinate and execute virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, including conferences, webinars, product launches and networking events
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, sales and other teams to align events with business objectives
- Manage external vendors, venues and partners to ensure seamless execution of events
- Monitor event budgets, schedules and milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Analyse event effectiveness to optimise ROI and future events
- Provide reporting on event impact and engagement

Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in event planning, event marketing, or related roles
- Experience in cards / payments or financial services preferred
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
