Role Description
This is a part-time unpaid volunteer role requiring approximately 6 hours per week. eMigr8 Business works with employers who compete for global talent, and understanding how companies position themselves to attract and retain international workers is critical to our strategy. This role is for someone who enjoys competitive research and can turn secondary data into clear, structured analysis.
Responsibilities
- Research how leading employers structure their employee value propositions (EVPs) around global mobility, relocation support, and visa sponsorship
- Benchmark employer offerings across industries and geographies to identify patterns and gaps
- Produce concise analysis reports summarising findings for the eMigr8 Business team
- Track how companies communicate mobility benefits in job adverts, career pages, and employer brand materials
- Identify which types of employers are investing most in global talent and why
- Present findings in clean, structured formats suited to strategy discussions
Qualifications
- Background in HR research, management consulting, people strategy, or competitive analysis
- Skilled at synthesising secondary research into clear takeaways
- Comfortable with desk research, data organisation, and structured writing
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Familiarity with employer branding or EVP frameworks is a strong advantage
