INVIGILATOR

Casual, hourly rate £14.90 (Pay Award Pending)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and organised Exam Invigilators for our forthcoming GCSE exams in May and June 2027 to join our Examination Invigilators team. Helping the students through this critical stage is a vital part of their education.

Invigilators need to be over 18, reliable and punctual, highly flexible, able to relate to learners. It’s a part-time role, but one that can make a real difference.

Successful applicants will be able to work alone or as part of a team, have a good eye for detail and be able to remain calm under pressure. The ability to run a large examination room or IT literacy would be an advantage. Our external examinations run during May and June.

Previous experience of working in a school environment is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.

You Will Need To Have

  • Flexibility in working hours and ability to offer medium term commitment
  • Good organisational skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to students

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
