About The Role
Ossett Academy are seeking to appoint professional, reliable and detail-orientated Exam Invigilators to assist in the administration and supervision of key examinations throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all examinations are conducted in accordance with regulations, maintaining the integrity, security, and smooth running of each examination session.
The Examination Invigilator will work under the direction of the Examinations Officer to carry out invigilation and administrative duties associated with the effective delivery of examinations. The postholder will ensure full compliance with examination board regulations and procedures, preparing examination rooms to the required standards and supporting the smooth conduct of both internal and external examinations. They will also contribute to creating a calm, secure, and supportive environment that enables candidates to perform to the best of their ability.
The postholder will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing for pupils at all times. They will act with professionalism, integrity, and vigilance, helping to ensure examinations are conducted fairly, securely, and in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures.

About You
The successful candidate will be…
- Knowledgeable about and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Able to maintain concentration for extended periods and respond calmly and effectively to situations requiring immediate action or pupil support.
- Skilled in building positive and professional relationships with pupils.
- Capable of working independently, following Academy policies and procedures, and using initiative to resolve issues as they arise.
- Committed to supporting the smooth, secure, and compliant administration of pupil examinations, ensuring examination regulations are consistently upheld.
