The role

We are looking to recruit a number of professional, organised and flexible exam invigilators. The role requires you to provide a professional examination service, ensuring a calm environment to give candidates the best possible opportunity to be successful in their exams.

Candidates will be employed on a casual basis, with hours available over mornings and afternoons.

What will you be doing?

  • Supervising students taking examinations.
  • Preparing exam rooms and distributing and collecting exam papers.
  • You will be required to support both paper based and computer based examination processes.
  • Adhering to the Universities policies and procedures (training will be given).
  • Providing clear instructions to large groups of students under examination conditions.

Additional information

The work is on a casual basis, with work available mornings and afternoons, mainly in May, early June, August and mid-December each year, but occasionally at other times when needed.

Start times in readiness for morning exams is likely to be 8.30am.
