Flexible Worker Contract

Location: Remote

About the Role

We’re looking for Examiners to join our Assessment Delivery team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification:

Level 1/2 Technical Award in Sports Studies

As an Examiner, you’ll use your subject knowledge to mark external assessments and submit results throughout the summer 2027 marking window, helping to ensure learners receive fair, consistent and accurate results.

If you're a Sports Studies, Physical Education or Sports Coaching teacher, lecturer, trainer or assessor, this is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise to support the fair and accurate assessment of learners.

Marking window dates are subject to change and will be communicated throughout the process should you be successful.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Following and maintaining the standard set by the Chief Examiner, applying the mark scheme consistently and accurately
  • Reporting suspected malpractice or safeguarding concerns to the Assessment Delivery team
  • Attending examiner standardisation and other meetings as required – standardisation events will be run remotely and scheduled for weekdays between the hours of 9.00am-5.00pm prior to the start of the marking window
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of NCFE assessment materials, learner evidence and learner details, and report any breaches to the Assessment Delivery team

What We’d Love to Hear From You

  • A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above in sports studies or a closely related subject area
  • Current or recent teaching experience at Level 3 or above in a sports studies related subject, or significant recent occupational experience within the sector
  • An understanding of effective quality assurance and assessment processes
  • The ability to work consistently within tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
