Join Our Team as a Data and Exams Assistant!

The North School is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Data and Exams Assistant to support our student data tracking and exam administration. If you love accuracy, teamwork, and making a difference in a school environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Data Administration Support

  • Maintain and update student records in Bromcom to ensure total accuracy.
  • Follow up with teachers regarding missing grades or entry queries.
  • Help gather assessment data to create termly and annual progress reports for parents.
  • Assist the Data Manager with base data for official school returns.

Exams Operational Support

  • Prepare exam rooms, organize stationery, arrange seating plans, and print attendance registers.
  • Distribute exam timetables and notices to students, staff, and parents.
  • Help receive, check, safely store, and pack exam papers for dispatch.
  • Assist with practical setups for SEN candidates and special accommodation needs.
  • Step in to help monitor exam rooms during peak testing periods.

  • Good general education (GCSE Maths & English or equivalent).
  • Level 2 or 3 Diploma or higher.
  • Proven admin experience in a fast-paced office or school environment.
  • Practical experience using Google Docs and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with school MIS systems like Bromcom.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Methodical skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Clear skills for working with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • A collaborative team player, especially during busy exam seasons.
  • Knowledge of exam board frameworks, Bromcom, GDPR, and safeguarding.
