Help shape an inclusive exam experience by ensuring every learner receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.
In this busy and exciting role you will coordinate and deliver Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) across the College, helping to remove barriers and create an accessible, supportive exam environment for learners with additional needs. Working closely with curriculum teams, the Exams department and external agencies, you will ensure that students receive the appropriate arrangements to support their success.
You will play a key role in identifying learner needs, maintaining accurate records and evidence, and ensuring all Exam Access Arrangements are implemented in line with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference to students' educational journeys while working in a collaborative and student-focused environment.
The role also involves building strong relationships with feeder schools, supporting learners with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), and working alongside wellbeing and support services to ensure learners can access fair and inclusive assessment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement Exam Access Arrangements for eligible learners.
- Liaise with curriculum, support and exams teams to ensure effective learner support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools and external agencies.
- Collect, monitor and maintain Form 8 documentation and supporting evidence.
- Ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations and exam access requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner records and evidence files for Exam Access Arrangements.
- Coordinate exam support for learners with EHCPs and additional needs.
- Audit and monitor records in line with ALS funding requirements.
- Attend and cascade JCQ updates, implementing process improvements where required.
- Work collaboratively with wellbeing services to support learners requiring exam adjustments.

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with experience of supporting learners with additional needs and coordinating processes or services. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to work independently and build effective relationships with colleagues, schools and external partners.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of learning difficulties, disabilities and Exam Access Arrangements, together with knowledge of JCQ regulations and assistive technologies. A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and delivering an outstanding student-centred service is essential.
