Are you looking for a flexible job in a school working on a casual basis that fits in with your family commitments?

We are looking to recruit Exam invigilators to join our existing exams team to support our internal and external exams series.

We offer full training and you will be required to attend regular briefings by the Exams Officer. The role requires you to support the Exam Officer and Lead invigilator in setting up the examination rooms, ensuring correct exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ regulations, to distribute and collect examination papers and monitoring students during the examination period. The role could require you to be a reader or scribe 1:1 for individual students.

If you are hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and flexible with good verbal communication skills along with an eye for detail we would like to hear from you. This role is to oversee and supervise examinations as necessary throughout the school year and as such our Invigilators are employed on a casual basis, with hours and days of work subject to the timings of each examination. This position will be reporting to the Examinations Officer.

Hourly rate: £13.74 plus holiday pay on hours worked.

Working Pattern

We require invigilators at various times of the year for internal and external exams. This role is flexible and allows you to work when it is convenient to you. You will be contacted in advance of the exams and asked to confirm availability in advance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
