Role Description
The Excavator Electrical & NOX Tiltrotator Installation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in England, United Kingdom. This position is responsible for installing, configuring, and testing NOX tiltrotator systems and related electrical components on excavators, ensuring safe integration with heavy equipment and site operations.

- Diagnosing electrical and control system issues
- Performing wiring and sensor installations
- Calibrating equipment for optimal performance in trenching and excavation environments
- Collaborating with site supervisors and operators to plan installations
- Conducting equipment checks and routine maintenance
- Completing technical documentation and reports
The role also involves:
- Following all safety and compliance procedures
- Providing on-site technical support
- Contributing to continuous improvement of installation standards and practices
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in heavy equipment operation and familiarity with excavators and auxiliary attachments.
- Hands-on experience with excavation and trenching activities, including awareness of ground conditions and safe digging practices.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment systems, hydraulics, and control circuits relevant to tiltrotator and electrical installations.
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance, including routine inspection, fault finding, and repair of mechanical and electrical components.
- Experience working in trench and shoring environments, adhering to site safety standards and temporary works requirements.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in electrical engineering, plant engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer installation manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work safely and independently on busy construction sites.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to multiple sites across England as required.
- Previous experience with tiltrotator systems, machine control.
