Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate an Excavator to carry out excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and material handling activities in line with project requirements.
  • Comply with all health, safety, environmental, and site-specific procedures at all times.
  • Complete pre-start checks and routine inspections to ensure the Excavator remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.
  • Load and move materials safely, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in accordance with site plans and instructions.
  • Report any defects, faults, damage, or maintenance issues promptly to site management.

Qualifications

  • In date CPCS or NPORS tickets with CSCS Logo.

Experience

  • Previous experience operating an Excavator on large civil engineering or construction sites is essential.
  • Candidates must be confident working in a busy site environment, following directions from supervisors, and operating safely around other plant and personnel.
