Excellence Reporting Accountant – Finance Shared Services
Port Glasgow | Hybrid | Finance

We’re building a smarter, more connected and insight-led Finance function at The Travel Corporation and our growing Port Glasgow Shared Services Centre is right at the heart of it. We’re looking for a Reporting Accountant who gets excited about more than producing reports. Think data, dashboards, automation, better decisions and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Director of Finance Operations you’ll work alongside a great Finance team, have visibility with senior leaders and be encouraged to challenge how things are done today. If there’s a smarter way to report it, automate it or understand it, we want you to help us find it.

Your Impact
You’ll help us:
- Turn data into decisions through dashboards, KPIs and meaningful insight.
- Make Finance smarter by automating and simplifying manual reporting.
- Track performance across P2P, O2C and R2R and bring the story behind the numbers to life.
- Spot trends, risks and opportunities before they become problems.
- Build reporting that people actually want to use.
- Improve how we measure SLAs, productivity, quality and service performance.
- Partner with Finance leaders to turn insight into action.
- Bring fresh ideas to our continuous improvement and transformation agenda.
What You’ll Bring
You’re analytical, curious and comfortable asking, “Could we do this better?” You’ll ideally bring experience across finance reporting, analytics or Shared Services, alongside:
- Knowledge of P2P, O2C and R2R.
- Dashboard and KPI reporting experience.
- Strong data storytelling and stakeholder skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- Continuous improvement / Lean Six Sigma qualification or equivalent experience.
- ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel and Power Query skills.
