Role Summary
This is a part-time HR Administrator role supporting the HR team at Rare Studio. The person will manage HR administration across the employee lifecycle, answer employee queries, maintain HR records, prepare HR documents, and support HR projects. The role would suit someone with previous HR administration experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with HR systems, employee data, and HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Manage and monitor the HR inbox.
- Respond to routine HR questions from employees.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate HR team member.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
HR Administration
- Create and issue:
- Offer letters
- Employment contracts
- Contract amendments
- Employee change letters
- Standard HR correspondence
- Maintain employee records within the HRIS.
Data & Reporting
- Update HR dashboards and trackers.
- Maintain holiday and sickness records.
- Produce monthly HR reports.
- Conduct data audits and accuracy checks.
- Ensure data compliance and accuracy.
HR Projects & Team Support
- Support people initiatives and HR projects.
- Coordinate meetings and calendar activity.
- Take meeting notes and track actions.
- Assist with training and compliance activities.
- Maintain training records and completion reports.

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
HR Experience
- Previous experience as:
- HR Administrator
- HR Assistant
- HR Coordinator
- People Operations Administrator
HR Knowledge
- Understanding of:
- Employee lifecycle processes
- HR administration
- UK employment legislation
- HR policies and procedures
Administrative Capability
- Strong document preparation experience.
- Accurate record-keeping.
- Experience updating HR systems and employee records.
- Reporting and data management experience.
Systems & Tools
- Microsoft Office Suite:
- Excel
- Word
- Outlook
- Teams
- HRIS experience.
Soft Skills
- Can independently manage a shared HR mailbox.
- Can handle employee queries professionally.
- Maintains high accuracy when processing HR documentation.
- Handles confidential information appropriately.
- Can prioritize multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate.
- Currently studying toward CIPD qualification.
- Experience supporting HR projects.
- Experience coordinating training programs.
- Experience maintaining HR dashboards and metrics.
- Experience working in creative, technology, gaming, or studio environments.

Additional Details
- Location: Twycross, Atherstone, England
- Duration: 6 months
- Shift Timings: 3 days per week (flexible) (Hybrid, some onsite days at Rare Studio)
- Pay Range: £122 - £138 /day (PAYE)
- Weekly Schedule: 20 hours

Pay Rate Range
- 122 - 138 GBP daily
