About The Job

Luxury Gallery Security Officer – Bond Street (Central London)

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Officer to join one of our prestigious clients at an exclusive gallery located on Bond Street.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a refined, high-value environment, where discretion, presentation, and exceptional customer engagement are essential. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated on-site security team, playing a key role in safeguarding both people and valuable artworks while maintaining a welcoming and composed atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and high-value art pieces at all times.
  • Work closely with fellow security officers and gallery staff to maintain a secure and seamless environment.
  • Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter and respond to security risks.
  • Identify and appropriately handle suspicious behaviour or incidents.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents in a calm, professional, and effective manner.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, engaging confidently with clientele.
  • Adhere to all site procedures, including health and safety protocols.

Rate & Hours

£14.00 - £14.50 per hour. (DOE)
Shifts range from 10 to 12 hours
Monday to Sunday (day shifts only)

Candidate Profile

  • Immaculate presentation (well-fitted black suit, white shirt, polished black shoes).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Calm, confident, and professional in high-end environments.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly disciplined.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport within a team setting.
  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in retail, hotel, or luxury environments is advantageous.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Frontline DS SIA Licence.
  • Verifiable employment history (BS7858 compliant).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
  • Proven experience in managing security incidents within a professional or customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to shifts and duties.
