Junior Executive Search Consultant

Location: London - four days per week in the office

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 base salary, plus a discretionary annual bonus paid in December

About the opportunity

XCB Recruitment is partnering with a specialist executive search firm to recruit a Junior Executive Search Consultant.

This opportunity offers broad exposure to the search process, close collaboration with experienced colleagues and a strong emphasis on professional development.

The role

You will support executive search assignments through research, market mapping and candidate engagement, developing your understanding of specialist markets and senior talent.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching businesses, markets and potential candidates.
  • Building market maps and identifying talent relevant to each assignment.
  • Supporting candidate outreach and building professional relationships.
  • Preparing candidate profiles, research summaries and search updates.
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting search coordination.
  • Developing your market knowledge through practical experience and training.

About you

A strong academic background is a key consideration for this role. You will also bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and an analytical approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Confidence engaging with people and building relationships.
  • Ambition, initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work in the London office four days per week.

Training and remuneration

The firm offers broad exposure and invests seriously in development. Its current juniors are completing a six-month programme with a leading external trainer.

The package includes:
