Role Summary

We are looking for an Execution Sales Trader to cover European and US equity markets in a front-office, desk-based role with flexible coverage across trading hours. The role is focused on DMA execution support, including real-time monitoring of order flow, FIX connectivity, routing, and OMS/EMS and algorithmic execution workflows, while also handling a subset of client orders that require high-touch execution and judgement. Working closely with brokers, technology, risk, and compliance teams, the position ensures stable market access, strong controls, and high execution standards, with scope to develop into a broader execution and flow-trading role as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

DMA & Real-Time Execution Support

  • Provide real-time, desk-based support, actively monitoring European and US electronic order flow throughout the trading session.
  • Ensure continuity and stability of DMA connectivity, routing configurations, and exchange access.
  • Configure and support FIX order, execution, and drop-copy sessions.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues such as rejects, connectivity interruptions, or latency anomalies in coordination with brokers and venues.

High-Touch Execution

  • Handle selected European and US equity orders requiring manual oversight or execution discretion.
  • Provide intraday liquidity insight, execution strategy considerations, and market colour.
  • Coordinate with brokers, venues, and dark/auction mechanisms to support best execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
