About Us
We help organisations transform how they design, develop and service products through leading technology solutions. As a Global PTC Partner, we work with customers across automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical devices and other industries to solve complex product development challenges and drive better business outcomes.
Concurrent Engineering are growing and are looking for an experienced sales professional to lead our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) business in the UK.
The Opportunity
You will own the ALM revenue target for the UK, growing our existing customer base while winning new accounts. This is a hands-on, field-based sales role: you will build relationships with engineering, quality and IT stakeholders and lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales from initial conversation through to close.
Compensation: £120,000 OTE (base salary + commission) | Uncapped commission
You will be based at our Marston Green office, Birmingham (B37 7HG), with regular UK customer travel. You will report to the Strategic Sales & Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the ALM sales target across the UK, managing a pipeline of new and existing opportunities.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through renewals, expansion, cross-sell and upsell, while developing new customer relationships.
- Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Understand customer challenges around requirements management, traceability, compliance, risk and software delivery, and position appropriate ALM solutions.
- Work closely with PTC, pre-sales, technical and services teams on account planning, demonstrations, proposals, proofs of concept and co-selling.
- Negotiate commercial terms and represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and PTC partner activities.
- Bring customer and market insight to help shape our UK ALM go-to-market strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
