Ministerial Services are seeking expressions of interest of talented professionals who are interested in working in a Ministerial office in the 55th Executive Government. These roles offer a rare opportunity to work at the heart of government, contributing to decisions and initiatives that have a direct impact on New Zealand communities while gaining experience in one of the country's most dynamic and unique working environments.
Executive and administrative staff ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the Minister’s office by delivering a wide range of office support, administrative, and advisory services to the Minister and the Ministerial Office. The position provides support across diary coordination, correspondence management, travel and event arrangements, data and information management, media and communications, information tracking, reception services, and stakeholder liaison, ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of the office.

- Administrative and executive support experience.
- Excellent organisation and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong political judgement, discretion and risk awareness.
- Experience managing diaries, correspondence, travel and events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive matters.
