Executive Assistant to Managing Director | Solihull - Hybrid | Manufacturing| Up to £42K plus benefits

Are you an experienced PA or EA who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the person who keeps a senior leader one step ahead? This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive and commercially minded individual to work closely with the Managing Director, providing trusted support across a broad and varied remit. This is much more than a traditional diary-management role. You'll become a key point of contact for the Managing Director, helping to manage priorities, coordinate stakeholders and ensure that important actions and commitments keep moving.

The Role

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will provide high-quality PA / EA support across the day-to-day running of their schedule and wider business activity.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a complex and constantly changing diary, prioritising meetings and resolving clashes.
  • Coordinating meetings, site visits, travel, accommodation and business events.
  • Preparing agendas, meeting papers, presentations, reports and briefing materials.
  • Taking minutes and maintaining oversight of key actions, ensuring they are followed through.
  • Managing correspondence and communications, using your judgement to prioritise and respond appropriately.
  • Proactively chasing information and actions across the business.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders and external contacts.
  • Helping the Managing Director remain focused on key priorities by anticipating requirements and identifying potential issues before they arise.
  • Supporting with expenses, invoices and other administrative requirements.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential business and personnel information with complete discretion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
