This is an exciting opportunity to join Marshall Land Systems as an Executive Assistant, providing high-level, proactive and confidential support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
You’ll play a key role in helping your stakeholders stay organised, prepared and focused across their areas of responsibility. This is a varied position combining executive-level support with wider business coordination and office administration, giving you excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the wider organisation.
You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, using your judgement and initiative to anticipate requirements, manage competing priorities and ensure tasks are followed through to completion.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Executive Support
- Provide proactive, professional and confidential EA support to members of the Executive Team focused on the CFO and CRO.
- Manage complex and frequently changing diaries, prioritising appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Organise internal and external meetings, coordinating attendees, rooms, technology and refreshments where required.
- Prepare meeting agendas, papers, presentations and supporting documentation.
- Ensure executives are fully briefed and prepared for meetings by coordinating relevant information and actions in advance.
- Attend meetings where appropriate, taking accurate notes and maintaining action logs.
- Follow up on agreed actions and deadlines to ensure commitments are delivered.
- Arrange and coordinate domestic and international travel, including transport, accommodation, itineraries and associated documentation.
- Manage expenses, invoices and other administrative requirements on behalf of the CFO and CRO.
- Handle confidential, commercially sensitive and personal information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Draft, prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation.
- Act as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and directing matters appropriately.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders.

Business & Office Coordination
- Support the CFO and CRO with the coordination of key business activities, projects and deadlines.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of presentations, reports and management information.
- Coordinate information, actions and follow-ups across departments on behalf of the executives.
- Assist with the organisation of meetings, workshops and events as required.
- Maintain a strong understanding of business priorities and proactively anticipate administrative requirements.
- Support the planning and logistics of key industry shows, with occasional attendance where required.
- Travel occasionally as required by the role.
General Office & Administration
- Provide general administrative support as required.
- Provide holiday and absence cover for other administrative functions within the office.
- Contribute to the smooth and professional running of the wider office environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who is organised, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar senior administrative role.
- Experience supporting senior executives or members of a leadership team.
- Experience working within a corporate, professional services, finance, manufacturing or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating projects, business activities or cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with people at all levels.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and anticipate requirements.
- A high level of discretion and experience handling confidential or commercially sensitive information.
- A professional, flexible and approachable manner.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Technical Skills / Education
A formal qualification is not essential where the candidate can demonstrate strong, relevant experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in an EA, PA or senior administrative position.
- Strong experience supporting senior executives and managing complex diaries and competing priorities.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing professional correspondence, presentations, reports and meeting documentation.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills.

Additional Local Needs
- The role will be based on-site in Cambridge 3–4 days per week, with flexibility required depending on business needs.
- Travel will occasionally be required to our site in South Wales and trade shows
- Successful candidates will be required to complete a BPSS security check.
