Executive Assistant to the CEO
Express Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a successful and expanding organisation, who are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team, working directly alongside the CEO.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious EA or PA to become a genuine right-hand person to the CEO, providing high-level executive support while taking ownership of projects, business operations and key priorities across the organisation.
The role offers a £40,000 – £50,000 salary, private medical care, access to an employee rewards and discount scheme, the opportunity to purchase company products at cost, a car scheme option and a birthday day off. There are also future plans to introduce hybrid working, alongside genuine scope to progress into a Chief of Staff position.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and proactive, with the confidence to operate at a senior level and the ability to make a real impact within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant or in a similar senior-level support position
- Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, alongside confidence using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Planner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate with senior executives and external stakeholders
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to take ownership, use initiative and get things done without needing to be asked
- A polished, professional and personable manner, with excellent judgement, discretion and the confidence to represent the CEO at high-level meetings

Roles & Responsibilities
- Managing the CEO’s complex diary, meetings, correspondence, calls and emails, ensuring their time is managed effectively
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper and key point of contact for the wider business, filtering queries and ensuring priorities remain on track
- Preparing briefing documents and presentations, attending senior meetings, taking detailed notes and ensuring actions are followed through
- Coordinating projects across multiple businesses, liaising with senior stakeholders and external advisers and proactively driving deadlines
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, new business launches, acquisitions and wider commercial projects, alongside elements of office management
- Managing personal commitments, travel, properties and family logistics, while also supporting LinkedIn content and using AI tools to improve efficiency
