Ready to play a key role at the heart of an Executive Team where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy staying one step ahead, keeping things organised and helping senior leaders perform at their best? Are you looking for a varied role where you'll work in a fast-paced environment, build trusted relationships and make a real difference every day?
About The Role
As an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-quality support to our Executive Team, helping senior leaders manage busy schedules, changing priorities and the demands of a fast-paced organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Executive Office, you'll be responsible for coordinating diaries, meetings, travel and key activities while ensuring our Executive Team is well prepared, informed and able to focus on leading the charity.
No two days are the same. One day you might be coordinating leadership meetings, collating briefing materials, organising an event, supporting an Executive Office project or responding to changing priorities across the Executive Team. You'll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable adapting quickly as priorities evolve.
Working as part of a supportive Executive Office team, you'll build strong relationships across the organisation and play an important role in ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build their experience by working closely with senior leaders across the charity.
What You'll Be Doing
Day to day, you'll:
- Provide proactive Executive Assistant support to members of the Executive Team, helping them manage busy schedules and competing priorities.
- Manage complex diaries, meetings, travel and inboxes, ensuring arrangements run smoothly and making the best use of Executive time.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, workshops, away days, events and wider Executive Office activities.
- Prepare and coordinate meeting papers, presentations, reports and briefing materials and take accurate meeting notes and actions.
- Support Executive Office projects and help coordinate organisation-wide activities.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Maintain accurate records, action logs and administrative processes.
- Work collaboratively with other Executive Assistants to provide seamless support and cover across the Executive and CEO Offices.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
