B&M Personal Assistant Opportunity

B&M is one of the UK’s fastest-growing retailers, and we are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide dedicated support to our IT Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role is ideally suited to someone with EA/PA experience supporting senior executives and who thrives in a fast-paced, confidential, and commercially driven environment.

This is a trusted support role requiring discretion, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to operate confidently at senior leadership level. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting two critical functions within the business, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Technology and Finance leadership teams. The role will require 4 days per week working from our Corporate Offices in Liverpool.

The Key Responsibilities of the Role Are:

  • End-to-end management of the IT Director and CFO's diaries, inboxes, and daily schedules, ensuring priorities are effectively managed.
  • Coordination of domestic and occasional international travel, accommodation, and detailed itineraries.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for both executives, managing and prioritising requests and communications.
  • Coordinating meetings, including logistics, agenda preparation, minute taking, and follow-up actions.
  • Liaising professionally with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, suppliers, technology partners, auditors, and external business contacts.
  • Supporting the preparation and distribution of board papers, leadership presentations, financial reports, and other confidential documentation.
  • Handling sensitive commercial, financial, and technology-related matters with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
