The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Essex. This position provides high-level executive and personal support, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves handling correspondence, drafting documents, and supporting internal and external communications to ensure the Managing Director is fully briefed and prepared.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Organizing travel and accommodation
- Processing expenses
- Coordinating logistics for site visits and client meetings
- Assisting with confidential matters
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ensuring efficient, professional administrative support aligned with business priorities
- Managing administration of all Human Resource requirements across the company
Qualifications
- Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Personal Assistance capabilities, supporting senior leadership with discretion and professionalism
- Effective Diary Management and organizational skills to coordinate complex schedules, meetings, and deadlines
- Clear, confident Communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, drafting correspondence, and handling calls
- Experience in arranging Travel Arrangements, including itineraries, accommodation, and logistics
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Outlook, Word, Excel), and strong document and data management skills
- Attention to detail, time management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably have prior experience supporting senior executives
- Background in construction, engineering, or related industries is advantageous
- Relevant qualification in business administration or a related field, or have equivalent experience
