Executive Assistant – Hedge Fund
Central London | Circa £60,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits | 4 Days in Office
We’re partnering with a highly regarded hedge fund to find an experienced Executive Assistant to support a small group of senior leaders.
This is a busy, internationally focused role where diaries are complex, priorities move quickly and good judgement matters. They need someone who is excellent at the fundamentals of being an EA – highly organised, proactive and able to stay one step ahead – but how you work is equally important.
The culture is collaborative and down-to-earth, with a strong EA team who work closely together. They’re looking for someone positive, approachable and willing to get stuck in; an EA who can confidently manage and protect their executives’ time while building strong relationships across the wider business.
The Role
- Manage complex and frequently changing diaries for senior leaders.
- Coordinate meetings across international offices and multiple time zones.
- Arrange extensive international travel, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes.
- Anticipate diary clashes, changing priorities and potential issues before they arise.
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper, using good judgement around access, priorities and competing demands.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, calls and wider business commitments.
- Manage expenses and associated administration.
- Develop a strong understanding of your executives, their priorities and individual working styles.
- Work closely with the wider EA team, providing support and cover when needed.
- Take ownership of requests, solve problems and ensure things are followed through.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
- Already be an experienced EA with a strong track record of supporting senior individuals in a fast-paced corporate environment. Experience within a hedge fund, investment management, private equity, banking or broader financial services environment would be particularly relevant.
- Be comfortable managing demanding diaries, international travel and multiple competing priorities, with the judgement to know what needs attention, what can wait and when to push back.
- Be a genuine team player. You’ll know how to protect your executives’ time without creating barriers and will build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and the wider EA team.
- Be organised, responsive and calm when things change, with a naturally proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership rather than waiting for direction.
