Tate are working with a respected national public-sector organisation with a strong public-service purpose. They work with communities, government bodies and external partners across England, providing expert guidance, delivering important programmes and supporting work that creates a positive and lasting impact for the public.
The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chair and Chief Executive. Working closely with the Private Secretary and the Chair's external PA, you will help ensure the office operate smoothly, efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex and frequently changing diaries, meetings, visits and schedules.
- Monitor shared inboxes, correspondence and meeting requests, assessing urgency and priority.
- Act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, callers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate UK and international travel and accommodation.
- Prepare and collate reports, briefings and papers for senior leaders.
- Track actions and correspondence, drafting high-quality responses where appropriate.
- Manage event invitations, expenses and purchase orders.
- Support internal communications, events and ad hoc projects.
- Deputise for the Private Secretary when required.

About You
- EA or PA experience supporting senior leaders in a busy office.
- Proven ability to manage complex diaries, competing demands and multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building and proofreading skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
- A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
- The discretion and tact required to handle confidential and sensitive information.
