Executive Assistant – Investment Banking | 12-Month Contract

Central London | £55,000–£60,000 | 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH

We’re recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to join a busy front-office deal team within a leading investment banking firm on a 12-month contract.

Supporting two Managing Directors and two Vice Presidents, this is a highly involved EA role where you’ll be closely embedded within the team, supporting client activity and ongoing deals whilst ensuring the day-to-day runs seamlessly.

This would suit an EA who enjoys being close to the business, takes a genuine interest in what their team is working on and thrives in an environment where priorities move quickly. You’ll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership, with the judgement to know what needs attention and when.

The Role

  • Managing complex and constantly changing diaries for senior investment bankers.
  • Coordinating detailed international travel across multiple time zones.
  • Scheduling high volumes of internal and external meetings, particularly around roadshows where 20+ meetings may need to be coordinated within a short timeframe.
  • Managing inboxes, identifying priorities and ensuring important actions are followed up.
  • Preparing detailed meeting materials and ensuring the team has everything they need ahead of client meetings.
  • Updating Salesforce with meeting notes, contacts and deal information.
  • Acting as a key liaison between the deal team, internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Providing hands-on support across ongoing deals, team projects and wider business activity.
  • Staying ahead of changing priorities and resolving issues quickly when plans change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
