Executive Assistant | Biotech | City of Westminster | Hybrid (4 days office / 1 day home) | Contract to March 2027

Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, VC-backed biotech business to find an Executive Assistant to provide maternity cover, supporting a team of four senior executives through a critical growth period until March 2027.

The Role

  • Provide exceptional, high-volume diary management across four executives, including a CEO, CFO, CBO, and a fourth exec, each with distinct working styles
  • Manage complex travel arrangements, including visa coordination
  • Support with board packs and liaison with board members
  • Manage expenses processing and review
  • Support investor meetings and complex scheduling around fundraise activity
  • Provide light-touch HR admin support (Bamboo updates, salary letter mail merges)
  • Manage day-to-day office needs: meeting room bookings, supplier liaison, landlord issues, office supplies

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment: start-up, scale-up, fintech, or biotech
  • Strong, confident personality with the ability to push back on senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisation and time management
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach; able to spot issues before they land
  • High attention to detail and comfort with high email volume
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including some weekends, during peak periods
