Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to use their initiative and take ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.

You will be someone who naturally looks for ways to improve processes, anticipates what the partners need and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong IT skills are important, and previous HR experience or exposure to HR processes would be highly advantageous.

Secretarial and audio typing skills would be advantageous, but not essential. Experience within a professional services or legal environment would also be beneficial, although attitude, organisation and initiative are key.

The Opportunity:

This is a genuinely varied opportunity within a growing firm where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact. The role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant who enjoys being hands-on, likes variety and wants to work closely with senior people in a role where their contribution is valued.

The role is hybrid, with car parking available, alongside the firm's usual benefits package.

If you are an organised, proactive Executive Assistant looking for a role where you can really take ownership and make a difference, we would be very keen to hear from you.
