Job Description
Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the contract role of Executive Assistant.
Contract Details
- 3-month contract
- Hybrid working to Glasgow
- 350 - 300 a day
Act as a trusted partner and advisor to our client's Chief Finance Officer, managing a complex global diary aligned to strategic priorities. Anticipate requirements, coordinate briefings, and manage communications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain oversight of CFO engagement with the Board and Committees, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with Board members, executives, investors, and external partners.
- Act as the central coordination point for CFO-related activities, aligning calendars and priorities across senior stakeholders.
- Manage complex global travel arrangements, including contingency planning.
- Drive enhancements in Executive Office processes by leveraging digital tools and AI-enabled solutions.
- Handle highly sensitive financial and strategic information with absolute discretion.

Must-haves
- Extensive experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally within complex, global, and listed company environments.
- Proven track record supporting Board-level governance and understanding Executive Committee dynamics.
- Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive, forward-thinking mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with AI tools and Concur is desirable.
- Experience working closely with Finance executives or within financial environments to understand relevant language and priorities.
- Agile, resilient, and polished professional with strong commercial awareness and ability to manage ambiguity.
