C&C Search Recruitment for Senior-Level Executive Assistant

C&C Search is currently recruiting a senior-level Executive Assistant supporting a C-suite leader within a highly respected organisation in the financial services sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant looking to work closely with a senior C-suite executive in a complex, fast-paced, and intellectually stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities for This Position

  • Manage the complex diary, inbox, and priorities, ensuring they are fully prepared for meetings, events, and strategic commitments.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper and key point of contact, building strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders while handling confidential matters with discretion.
  • Prepare meeting packs, presentations, briefing documents, and correspondence, taking ownership of follow-up actions, minutes, and key deadlines.
  • Coordinate directorate meetings, governance events, training sessions, travel arrangements, expenses, purchase orders, and other Executive Assistant support activities.
  • Provide proactive administrative and project support, anticipating future requirements and ensuring the smooth running of the exec's office.

What Background and Experience Are the Company Looking For?

  • Proven experience working as a Senior Executive Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting a C-suite executive.
  • Previous experience within financial services, pensions, legal, governance, compliance, risk, or a regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional diary management, scheduling, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, show initiative, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience preparing board-level documentation, presentations, and meeting papers.
  • Demonstrable ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Resilient, diplomatic, and confident with the ability to influence and build effective working relationships at all levels.
