Executive Assistant
Day Rate: 220 Per Day
Location: London (Hybrid working)
Contract Duration: 6 months
A prestigious global financial services organisation in London is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide exclusive secretarial and administrative support to two Senior Executives. This is a unique opportunity for you to step into a pivotal role where your attention to detail, discretion, and commitment to efficiency will be highly valued. The position offers the chance to work closely with C-Suite leaders, ensuring their office operates seamlessly while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
You will have the opportunity to work directly with senior executives, supporting their daily operations and strategic initiatives in a high-profile environment.
What you'll do:
As an Executive Assistant based in London, you will play an integral role in supporting Senior Executives by managing their schedules, preparing confidential documents, and overseeing office operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include aligning your activities with the broader business plan, monitoring administrative systems for improvement opportunities, producing detailed reports and presentations, as well as handling complex diary management.
- Align your daily activities with the annual departmental business plan, ensuring your work supports the achievement of organisational goals.
- Monitor and review administrative operating systems and procedures, identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Produce high-quality correspondence, presentations, and reports on behalf of Senior Executives, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
- Efficiently manage diaries, appointments, and travel arrangements for Senior Executives, anticipating needs and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Set clear goals and personal development plans for your team members, regularly reviewing performance to maintain engagement and enable professional growth.
- Collaborate intentionally with other departments and stakeholders to facilitate seamless business processes across the organisation.

What you bring:
To excel as an Executive Assistant in this role, you will bring substantial experience supporting senior executives or C-Suite leaders within large organisations. Your background should reflect strong administration management capabilities paired with business acumen that enables you to anticipate needs before they arise. Your approach is grounded in empathy; you understand how to nurture talent through coaching while promoting accountability. You possess advanced critical thinking skills that allow you to resolve issues swiftly without compromising quality or confidentiality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of administration management principles combined with strong business management acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills enabling you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
- Advanced critical thinking abilities allowing you to troubleshoot issues quickly while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Intentional collaboration skills that foster positive relationships within teams as well as across departments.
- Experience managing performance processes including setting goals, conducting reviews, and supporting personal development plans for direct reports.
- Proficiency in office management practices such as diary coordination, travel planning, document preparation, and reception services.
- Sound judgement when handling confidential information or sensitive matters requiring discretion.
- Stakeholder management expertise ensuring timely responses to enquiries while balancing competing priorities.
- Self-motivation coupled with a commitment to continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
