Our client, a company in the public sector is currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to the CEO, Chair of the Board and Senior Manager on a full-time, permanent contract.

The position is based in Manchester, with hybrid working offering up to 3 days working from home. The salary is £39,237.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing PA or executive support to senior leaders, excellent diary management skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Duties will include:

  • Managing complex diaries, using judgement to prioritise appointments, resolve clashes and protect time for important work
  • Coordinating meetings, travel and practical arrangements, ensuring senior colleagues have the information they need
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling enquiries professionally and escalating issues where needed
  • Capturing actions and decisions from meetings and discussions, following up with colleagues and stakeholders where needed
  • Preparing and formatting clear papers, briefings, correspondence, presentations and other documents to a high standard

Experience required:

  • Experience providing PA or executive support to senior leaders
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent organisational, scheduling and diary management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with colleagues, Board members and external stakeholders
  • Confident using digital collaboration, communication and productivity tools, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly

  • 37 hours, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
